An artisanal dark chocolate made from bean to bar (bean to bar) with high-quality cacao beans sourced from Ecuador from the Hacienda Limon region.

Opis

The chocolate made from cocoa beans sourced from Hacienda Limon has a pleasant lemon and apple acidity. There is also a bouquet of flowers, peanuts and yeast. It contains some aromas of lemon, banana and mango; then fresh flowers (jasmine), caramel, sweet alcohol, molasses and yeast.

Situated on the farms of Hacienda Limon at the foot of the mystical Cotopaxi volcano, they provide the ideal combination of climate, soil and terrain for growing cacao with a delicate aroma and flavour. The cacao beans from the Limon plantation are planted with the national cacao variety known as 'Arriba’, a rare, delicate Ecuadorian cacao variety currently under threat from the spread of more productive varieties. Limon cacao is certified by Heirloom Cacao.
